This article details how to verify your access to an unverified bank account using a micro-deposit. This is only required if you've connected a bank account to Wholesail with an account and routing number. If you want to connect a bank account with an account and routing number but have not yet started the process, please see this article.
- Within 1-2 business days of connecting your bank account to Wholesail, a deposit of $0.01 will be made to your bank account from Wholesail. Once you see that deposit in your bank account, you can return to Wholesail to verify your bank account. You'll also receive a message from Wholesail reminding you to verify 2 days after linking a bank account with routing & account number.
- In Wholesail, navigate to your bank account that you previously added by going to Settings and clicking the Payment accounts tab. You should see something that looks like the image below. Click the green Verify button at the right side of the payment account to begin verification.
- Please make sure you've received the $0.01 deposit in your bank account before continuing with verification. Click I've found the $0.01 deposit to continue.
- Reference the $0.01 deposit made from Wholesail in your bank account. Enter in the 3 digit short verification code that precedes the “Deposit from Wholesail” description and click Continue. Please double-check the 3 digit code — you have three attempts to enter the correct code. If you run out of attempts, please click here to learn how to re-add your bank account for verification.
- You're all set! Your bank account is now verified and ready for you to use to make payments in Wholesail.
