Importing buyers and buyer email addresses from QuickBooks
Wholesail pulls all the information in the Customer Detail section of QuickBooks, including any email addresses for customers. As part of the new-seller on-boarding process Wholesail will show you a list of buyers and their contact information for you to confirm we have the right recipients.
Changing buyer email addresses in QuickBooks
If you update a buyer’s email address in QuickBooks after we begin sending statements, this change will not be reflected in Wholesail automatically. Navigate to the Customer Settings screen to manage your users' accounts and settings.
Navigate to the “Customers” list and search for the customer that you’re looking for.
Once there, click the Customer settings link in the upper-right hand corner of the screen:
From here you can:
- Add a new user (instructions here)
- Turn automated statements on/off for a buyer (instructions here)
- See which users have payment account access (instructions here)
What happens when a buyer requests a change statement in recipients?
With your permission, Wholesail will followup on customer requests to add or remove statement recipients (if the sender of the request is themselves an authorized user). Wholesail’s team will make these changes proactively and let you know so you can inform the customer directly.
This is a free, and optional, service provided by Wholesail.
